Crazy but fun week ahead for sports here at OC16!
Wednesday and Thursday we will bring you live coverage of the HHSAA girls volleyball tournament. Doubleheader starting at 5pm from the McKinley bracket.
Friday - we switch to the OIA football semifinals and a doubleheader starting at 4:30 pm live from Aloha Stadium.
Saturday, back to volleyball for the HHSAA D1 and D2 title games from the Blaisdell Arena starting at 5pm.
I know we'll be missing the HHSAA girls volleyball semifinals o... 
I think it's good to get feedback from our viewers. Whether good, bad, or concerned it offers us a way to see other points.
I try to email directly back to those who post a comment or feedback email. Because part of my job is to educate on how games, schedules, and other things get done.
But ya know... It's awfully tough to send back a reply when a person uses a fake email address. If you took the time and have the concern to write something up, don't you want an ans... 
So this week OC16 will have two of the four OIA first-round football playoff games.
Friday: Mililani vs Castle 7pm
Saturday: Kailua vs Aiea 7pm
Games were selected based upon evaluations and rankings from a number of prep coaches, league officials, and OC16 staff.
Kailua and Aiea graded out tops with a tough, physical game expected.
Mililani vs Castle was next with a predicted air show and higher score.
Moanalua vs Kapolei would have been the second pick but Kapolei is so beat up with i... 
Pretty much from the first weeks of the OC16 football broadcasts in August, a more than frequent question has been:
"How come Kahuku is not on the schedule for TV games on OC16?"
A lot of those emails added a few extra "colorful" words. I'm sure you get the idea.
People on their own have come up with all sorts of conspiracy theories. My favorite being that the OIA and OC16 are blackballing Kahuku because of missteps last year and this season.
I mean really? Pun...
